This is a good one for scales as well I use to do this all the way up the keyboard on every string I guess with a acoustical unless cutaway at least you don’t go up as high lol.

I think something however I will be more conscious of is also count/timing as I really want to improve my timing so I don’t struggle as much when get to complex things. Might even use a metronome on my phone as there is some pretty cool apps now for phones that stuff didn’t use to exist lol.

would you play the descending notes by placing all three or four fingers in place in advance?

Hi Elisabeth! Yes, exactly.

Yes I can do it. Take it slowly. Without a pick more confidence because the strumming right thumb will fall or find the next string naturally. But, with a pick on your rights hand one must practice the how much to move to the next string. Its good idea to practice Spped developer with and without a pick.

It’s okay to practice without a pick. The improvement will mostly be in your left-hand. When you want to improve your picking it’s a good idea to use a pick and focus on getting that correct as well. You’ll probably have to slow down again and build back up.

How about plucking the strings, with any or try to stick to the rule thumb for last 3 …

Could you ask this another way KT? I don’t understand yet.

Almost impossible to keep all the fingers curled up and rest on the strings simultaneously. How do I break it ?

Hi KT… It’s not important to keep them on the strings. Most people can’t at first. You just keep working at it over time and get closer and closer. Try to keep them close as possible without too much strain.
