Hi Paul,
Did you finish the quiz? If so did you get a passing score? I had the quiz set to pass with 80% correct answers. I’ve lowered it to 50%. Try going through it again and let me know what happens.

tomas ,
?
On the 1-4-5- key change chord chart i dont completely understand the E,AM,and em chart.on the
am the V chord says em but said to play e
em v chord says bm but you said to play b7
E v chord says b but you said b7
My ? is did you put these in yo to make it easier to play .if so should i write this down memorize it and play it all the time this way.

Hi Paul, Yes I did that to make it easier.

Writing and memorizing are good. I created the quiz (under Lesson Content above) to help you memorize this. As I talked about in the lesson is common practice to alter the five (V) chord in a minor key. If you use the notes on the minor scale it will be a minor chord. But it’s often played as a major chord. In the case of the key of E minor, that means the five chord is played as a B chord. B7 is just another version of the five chord.

I do use the words “common” and “often” for reason, as opposed to “always” and “have to”. I’m not so sure your phrase “all the time” is right. It’s a bit oversimplified. Having said this I want you to go back and watch the lesson again with this understanding. Then do the quiz if you haven’t already.
